ILJ Mail - Email With Purpose

Our purpose is to not only provide first class private email, but also to bring awareness to those who go above and beyond to feed the hungry and to those who provide much needed assistance to our military families and first responders. The organizations below are close to our heart and touch the lives of so many around us. We invite you to take a moment to see the impact they are making every day.

"To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Military and First Responders

We give a 10% Military Discount. - Thank you for your service! - Use code: MILITARY10
A large percentage of the people we personally know are vets or first responders of some kind. Military, firemen, policemen. We have deep respect for those that risk their lives so that we can be safe here in our country. Unfortunately, these same people can be victims of an imperfect system if something bad happens to them. We are happy to say that there are organizations that help these special people when they struggle.

Gary Sinise Foundation

The Gary Sinise Foundation helps military veterans, first responders, and their families when they are in need. They build homes for disabled vets and help pay off mortgages for the families the fallen. They have special events and have many programs that are dedicated to those that need help. It is truly an uplifting, generous, and trustworthy organization. You can visit their website here: https://www.garysinisefoundation.org/

Helping the Hungry and Homeless

Our hope is to help bring awareness and support to an organization that feeds and cares for those so often forgotten and missed. Every day, right in our own backyards, people go hungry and without while we go about our daily business. In a time where there is so much excess, this is heart breaking and should never be. At ILJ Mail, we would like to use this platform to lend a hand and help make a difference.

One World Everybody Eats

We first heard about "Pay What You Can" cafes and restaurants when we saw an episode of Mike Rowe's "Returning the Favor". The idea of it was truly inspiring! These cafes and restaurants are operated on the basis of suggested donations. For those that can't afford it, they pay what they can or volunteer to help out. We thought that was such a wonderful idea to help the hungry everywhere. We are hoping that more people will see this and take off with it.

We found out that there is a network of these cafes around the US and that there is one place that will train and help set up new places that are willing to help feed those that are hungry in their area. They are called "One World Everybody Eats" and you can see more about them at their website here: https://www.oneworldeverybodyeats.org/

Family Promise

The first we heard of Family Promise was when we visited a local church. They were hosting a "Family Promise Family" that week. We were very curious as to what that meant and impressed with what we found out. Family Promise uses a network of local people, charities, and churches of all kinds to provide shelter and meals for homeless families, help them find jobs, provide day care for the kids while the parents are out going on interviews, and provide transportation. This was a service that not only fed the people who were in need, but also lifted them up, brought them in, and helped them get back on their feet. You can read their story here: FamilyPromise.org/our-story/

Legalese

We are licensed and bonded in the state of Alabama to be a co-venturer with charitable organizations and are working on some special partnerships, but these things take time. Until we can get that set up, please visit the organizations above to see the difference they are making. Please consider these places for any future donations as they are truly doing a great work.
